Lamar State College Port Arthur's Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class B training
course can get you up to speed and on the road in less than 6 weeks.
Funding assistance is available for Jasper residents who qualify through the Jasper Economic Development Corporation. We also offer student loans for those who qualify.
CLASS TIME: Monday through Friday from 1 pm to 9 pm

PREREQUISITES
- Be 18 years of age.
- Hold a valid Texas driver's license.
- Successfully complete a Department of Transportation (DOT) Physical Examination.
- Pass a Department of Transportation Drug Screen.
- Read and speak the English language to converse with the general public and make entries on reports and records.
